Candidate Forums

The Chamber and the League of Women Voters of the Aberdeen Area believe in providing opportunities for our members and the community to access elected officials, as well as candidates running for office. This is why we recently held a Candidate Forum at the KO Lee Aberdeen Public Library. At the forum, we had representatives running for the following:

·    Brown County Commission – Michael Carlsen, Kyler Dinger, and Duane Sutton (vote for two)

·    District 3 Senate – Carl Perry and Katie Washnok (vote for one)

·    District 23 House – Spencer Gosch, Scott Moore, and JD Wangsness (vote for 2)

·    District 23 Senate – Mark Lapka and Steven Roseland (vote for one)

·    District 1 House – Logan Manhart, Chris Reder, and Tamara St. John (vote for one)

All registered voters in Brown County can vote for the two candidates they would like to represent them on the Brown County Commission. All registered Republicans in Brown County can vote in the above primaries for the district they live in.
